Often patients, especially those post-surgery suffer from pain that prevents them from fully participating in therapy. To help patients make the most of their limited therapy days, we are happy to provide our pain management services including joint injections, trigger point injections, and prescribing topical and oral pain medications. If opioids become necessary, all patients will first be screened for their Opioid Abuse Risk, and then will be prescribed the lowest dose for the shortest amount of time.
In our experience, second to pain, poorly managed wounds are a major limiting factor in patient participation in therapy. It is for this reason, that we have begun providing wound care services to our post-acute care partner facilities. Please note, all wound care providers are certified by
the ABWM.
